Change locations if or when you feel \u00e2\u20ac\u0153dry\u00e2\u20ac\u009d or \u00e2\u20ac\u0153in a rut.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>2) Turn off or silence all electronic equipment i.e. phones, computers, televisions, radios, etc.<\/p>\n<p>3) Do not read emails, or your social media sites until AFTER your quiet time.<\/p>\n<p>4) When your mind wanders, have a note pad handy for a TO DO LIST.<\/p>\n<p>5) When reading your prayer list, call the names out loud as you pray. (Refer to your OnCall Pocket Prayer Book\u00c2\u00a9) An object, like a rock inscribed with a name, sitting by your coffee pot, is a great reminder.<\/p>\n<p>6) Use the <strong>OnCall Prayer Journal\u00c2\u00a9<\/strong> to hear from God . . . on paper.<\/p>\n<p>7) Use different colors of markers and pens to mark important writings; use tabs to mark pages in your journal or Bible for future reference.<\/p>\n<p>8) When reading scriptures read aloud and insert your name or the names of your loved ones in those scriptures.<\/p>\n<p>9) Have photographs handy of people you pray for and\/or post their photo on your phone wall-paper or computer desktop as a daily reminder.<\/p>\n<p>10) Set phone alarms as prayer reminders especially for scheduled Conference Prayer Calls.<\/p>\n<p>12) Pray specifically and intentionally. Mark 10:36 reminds us that Jesus asks his disciples, James and John: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153<em>What do you want me to do for you?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>13) An excellent habit to form: When you wake up in the morning before arising lay there a few minutes and think of all the things to praise God for. <em> \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Meditate within your heart upon your bed and be still.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Psalm 4:4 &#8220;Praise God from sunrise to sunset.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Psalm 113:3. TLB<\/em><\/p>\n<p>14) Remember: Prayer is simply having a conversation with Father, God. He answers at the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153set time.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d See Genesis 21:2 KJV<\/p>\n<p>15) Keep in the mind the 3 Deadly D\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s: <em>Distraction, Discouragement and Doubt.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>16) To release unforgiveness: Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t curse it, don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t nurse it, don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t rehearse it, disperse it and God will reverse it.<\/p>\n<p>17) Delay? \u00c2\u00a0You may be in a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153holding pattern.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>18) Fact: Praise is the best weapon against the Enemy. Psalm 8:2<\/p>\n<p>19) Too busy to pray? Just DO IT:\u00c2\u00a0<strong>D<\/strong>eliberate, <strong>O<\/strong>bedience, <strong>I<\/strong>ntentional, <strong>T<\/strong>rust<\/p>\n<p>20) The one prayer that never fails . . . <em>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153May Thy will be done.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Delay in not denial!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>No prayer is ever prayed in vain!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153But the question is: When I, the Messiah, return, how many will I find who have faith (and are praying)?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Luke 18:8 TLB \u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;d like to share some excerpts from my book The Power of Three &#8211; How a Protective Shield of Intentional Prayer Can Transform Your Life &#8211;\u00c2\u00a0Handbook Edition\u00c2\u00a0available at oncallprayer.org, Amazon and Kindle.
